Official Implementation of the Standard, Drafted by HEADSTREAM

In August 2025, the product standard “Metal-Faced Composite Panels with Edge Sealing for Building Applications” (T/CECS 10445-2025) was officially implemented. The Standard was issued by the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization and jointly drafted by the China Construction Metal Structure Association and HEADSTREAM Holding Group Co., Ltd. This marks the first-ever release of a standard dedicated to this category of products.

Over the past decade, edge-sealed metal-faced composite panels have been widely applied, yet lacked specific reference standards. As an industry leader, Hongxinyuan Holding Group took the initiative to draft the Standard, addressing gaps in design, production, and acceptance, and providing strong technical support for the industry’s sustainable development.

The Standard serves as an important supplement to existing national and industrial standards. It establishes guidelines for materials, structures, specifications, and structural calculations, with over ten innovative provisions. Notably, it includes recommended formulas for structural safety of single-metal-surface panels and the reinforcement effect of edge sealing, offering practical references for real-world applications.

Key data and technical formulas were developed collaboratively by the Harbin Institute of Technology, Hongxinyuan, and the China Construction Metal Structure Association, setting a new example of integration between industry, academia, and research.
