The Maersk Shanghai Lingang Integrated Logistics Flagship Warehouse integrates four core functions — export logistics, import logistics, regional distribution, and cross-border e-commerce — serving as a critical milestone in Maersk’s transformation from a global shipping giant into a comprehensive logistics service provider.
Located in the Lingang coastal area, the project faces challenging environmental conditions including high salinity, high humidity, and frequent typhoons. Combined with the stringent structural stability requirements of a super-large automated warehouse, the building envelope system was required to deliver exceptional performance in durability, weather resistance, and safety.

The HEADSTREAM concealed-fastener wall panels utilize an optimized structural connection design that transforms traditional single-point load-bearing into distributed surface-force transmission. Rigid anchoring nodes connect directly to the primary steel framework, forming a coordinated structural load-bearing system.
This innovative structural design effectively disperses localized impact forces, minimizing the risk of connection failure caused by stress concentration and significantly enhancing overall wind resistance and structural stability.

The project adopts a modern blue-and-white façade design, creating a clean, dynamic architectural image that perfectly reflects the efficiency and professionalism of a world-class logistics hub while strengthening the client’s corporate identity.
The panel surface is coated with a weather-resistant, self-cleaning anti-corrosion finish capable of withstanding salt-alkali corrosion in coastal environments. Rainwater naturally removes surface dust and contaminants, allowing the exterior walls to maintain a long-lasting clean appearance while greatly reducing maintenance frequency and operational costs, ultimately extending the building’s service life.
Modern logistics and warehousing facilities are subject to strict fire safety regulations and building standards. HEADSTREAM concealed-fastener wall panels use A-Class non-combustible rock wool insulation cores, effectively preventing flame spread while producing no toxic smoke during fire incidents.
At the same time, the rock wool core delivers excellent thermal insulation performance. Combined with the system’s airtight structural design, it significantly reduces overall building energy consumption.
