With the steady advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the implementation of a series of reform measures, Chinese enterprises are accelerating their expansion into global markets. In this favorable policy environment, Chinese building panel manufacturers are increasingly active in the international arena, striving to realize their vision of global development.

As one of the earliest Chinese enterprises to “go global,” Haier has become one of the world’s most recognized home appliance brands, thanks to its leading technologies and localized innovations. Recently, Haier added another milestone to its global smart manufacturing network—the Thailand Haier Air-Conditioner Industrial Park, co-built with HEADSTREAM, which has now successfully commenced trial production.
This project is Haier’s largest overseas manufacturing base for air-conditioning products, and also the largest Chinese brand air-conditioner production base in Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The park integrates digitalization and green operations, covering eight key dimensions: safety, energy, equipment, environment, and more. It achieves fully digitalized elements, real-time visualization, and intelligent operation management, setting a new benchmark for sustainable and efficient industrial park development.
As the enclosure system supplier, HEADSTREAM provided over 160,000 m² of high-performance roofing and wall cladding materials for the factory buildings, fully meeting world-class production capacity and quality requirements.
QuadFacade® Industrial Curtain Wall Panels
The plant is located in a tropical climate with alternating heat and humidity, requiring a production environment that is clean, temperature-stable, and low-noise. HEADSTREAM’s QuadFacade® industrial wall panels feature precision interlocking joints and concealed fastenings, ensuring tight connections, flush walls, and zero dust traps.

The insulated metal panels are installed in a single lift with no secondary cutting, shortening the construction schedule while eliminating dust contamination. Their self-cleaning, corrosion-resistant coating allows rainwater to wash away surface dust, keeping façades pristine over time. The high-density rock wool core creates a continuous insulation and soundproofing layer, effectively blocking external heat and noise, maintaining a cool, quiet, and stable production environment for air-conditioner manufacturing.
SeamLock75® Standing Seam Metal Roof System

Facing harsh coastal conditions with high wind loads and salt spray, HEADSTREAM’s SeamLock75® standing seam roofing system completed the 120,000 m² roof installation in record time.
Produced through fully automated roll forming with zero surface damage, the panels were site-formed at height and assembled with “plug-and-play” modular supports. Specialized sliding clips absorb thermal expansion stress, while the high-rib profile and superior load-bearing design ensure rapid drainage during monsoon rains. This guarantees a dry, safe roof structure under typhoon conditions, achieving zero leakage and enabling the project to be delivered on schedule.
Through strict control over the entire material production process, HEADSTREAM ensured on-time cross-border delivery, consistent product quality, and seamless international standard compliance. This enabled the project to pass the Thai government inspection in one go, showcasing the strength of “Chinese Construction + Chinese Manufacturing” in Southeast Asia.

By successfully participating in this landmark project, HEADSTREAM has added another shining achievement to the Belt and Road map. With higher standards, faster speed, and greener solutions, the company is demonstrating to the world the new heights of construction composite panels.
HEADSTREAM will continue to measure the world with Chinese standards and empower national brands to go global with high-performance enclosure systems, letting Chinese quality shine on the global stage of smart manufacturing.
